Tired of Letting Go

So in our second month we accomplished a lot!

We made soup:

“All That’s Left Is Potatoes and Leeks” Soup in soup crock

We looked at cute old pictures, we discussed zodiac star signs, we failed to hear back from an author, we got a massive sinus infection turned bronchitis, and we lost internet:

Notice that’s today’s date, things still aren’t fixed.

But some of us quite loyaly stuck with the Question of the Day and had good thoughts to share while waiting for things to be fixed, a million doctor’s got richer, hopefully everyone kept up their journaling and daily tasks, and we missed you all tremendously, so we’re gonna smash month three out of the park.

I have an early appointment to get to so today’s real entry/project will come later, but I think it’ll be a fun one IF people participate 🙂

Hopefully I’ll keep it fun even if people are shy about jumping back in though. My new heart medication promises I’ll be a comedic pro. Or really easily amused. Either way there will be pro LOLing:

A word about music:  We include songs for a reason.  Music helps us deal with the world, helps to soothe the soul, and gives us something else we can focus on when everything is too much.  Listen to the songs we post. Even if you already know them. Listen to them like you don’t. Pay attention to the lyrics. Pay attention to what the instruments are telling you. They all have a message, they all have a purpose, they’re all chosen for a reason.  If you like the song, please support the artist by purchasing the MP3 or Album that features it.
Today’s music can be found on Amazon.com:
MP3: Failure
Album: Dark Before Dawn

Yikes! For such a short post the formatting on this one got all kinds of jacked up from posting it from my phone :\  Sorry y’all!

It's only fair to share...

    1. Awwww… No Juan Epstein or Freddie Boom-Boom Washington? Or Beau Delebar? It was sung by John Sebastian. Who was the lead singer for The Lovin’ Spoonful, one of my favorites. Summer in the City, Do You Believe In Magic, What a Day For a Daydream… He also sang a good portion of the soundtrack to The Care Bears Movie 😉
